Deepak Vadera

Articling Student

Deepak is a recent graduate of Western University Law School, Class of 2024, and an articling student with a strong focus on criminal law. Throughout law school, Deepak demonstrated a deep commitment to criminal justice, participating in almost every criminal law-focused course offered.

During his time at Western, Deepak gained hands-on experience as a summer law student at the Community Legal Services clinic, where he focused on criminal law matters. His hard work and dedication led to his promotion as Team Leader in his third year, where he continued to hone his skills in client advocacy and legal strategy.

In addition to his coursework, Deepak participated in the Ontario Court of Justice Placement Program during the January Intensive program at Western Law where he clerked for a Judge at the OCJ. In his final year of law school, he completed the Criminal Law Externship Program where he had the unique opportunity to shadow a prominent criminal defence lawyer in London, Ontario, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of criminal defence work.

Outside of the courtroom, Deepak can often be found binge-watching true crime documentaries or watching body cam reels on Youtube.

As an articling student, Deepak is committed to assisting and supporting individuals navigating the complexities of the criminal justice system, striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.
