Stefan Peters

Stefan completed his undergraduate degree in political science at McGill University before pursuing a dual law degree (Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law) at the Université de Montréal.

After articling for one of Canada’s top drinking and driving lawyers, Stefan worked for several years with a community legal clinic where he assisted individuals from low-income and marginalized communities in criminal, immigration and landlord-tenant matters. He now practices criminal law exclusively, and has represented both adults and young people charged with offences including aggravated assault, sexual assault, drug trafficking and possession, firearms offences, fraud, and human trafficking.

Stefan prides himself on offering personalized and client-focused representation, and helping his clients navigate through what is often the most difficult period of their lives. 

He is perfectly bilingual in both English and French, and regularly represents clients before the courts in both of Canada’s official languages.
